Collars
The collar electronics are enclosed in an extremely tough, watertight plastic housing that also conceals a highly sensitive internal antenna, all ruggedised to withstand the most demanding environment. Activating and resetting this sealed collar is through simple physical contact with the handset unit, which houses a magnetic switch. All collars in the series have a 'tone' warning, enabling the dog to defer to it before the trainer has ultimately to resort to collar stimulation as the main deterrent.
Handsets
The handset of the remote dog trainer is extremely user friendly and fully adjustable. The ease of operation of its various, sophisticated functions demands virtually no distraction for the professional dog trainer, whilst at the same time, enabling him to concentrate soley on the training of the dog. AXT models have a range of 'off-field' user selected options (by means of simple switching within the handset housing) to accomodate professional and other specific requirements.
Stimulation Modes
Two stimulation modes are available: the very humane 'momentary' (twin-pulse) tickle, and the more urgent, 'continuous' pulsing. Combinations of these together with 'tone', can be assigned easily to the various trigger buttons to allo the user to select the ideal control for his dog(s). The options that cater for most situations are pre-set before dispatch, such that the system will be ready for immediate operation.
Other Options
The use of the two-button AXT2, either to control two dogs individually, each in AXT1 'basic' mode from the one handset, or in an 'enhanced' mode one-dog system where one button is dedicated to tone and the other to a user chosen stimulus mode.
The use of the three-button AXT3, either to control three dogs individually, as in AXT1 'basic' mode from the one handset, or as a 'Professional' mode one-dog system where one button is dedicated to tone, the second to momentary mode stimulus and the third to continuous stimulus.
The very powerful models AXT4 and AXT6 offer facilities that effetively double the capacity of the AXT2 and AXT3 controllers, respectively.
